These terms govern your use of AverageDay. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

Service Description

AverageDay is a Slack application that provides anonymous daily sentiment reporting for teams. The service includes:

  • • Daily automated check-ins via Slack direct messages
  • • Anonymous response collection and aggregation
  • • Team sentiment analytics and reporting dashboard
  • • Administrative tools for team and question management

Acceptable Use

You Agree To:

  • • Use AverageDay only for its intended purpose of team sentiment tracking
  • • Provide accurate information during setup and configuration
  • • Respect the anonymity of team member responses
  • • Comply with your organization's policies regarding workplace tools
  • • Use the service in accordance with Slack's Terms of Service

You Agree Not To:

  • • Attempt to identify individual responses or bypass anonymity measures
  • • Use the service for harassment, discrimination, or any illegal purpose
  • • Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the service
  • • Share access credentials or allow unauthorized use of your account
  • • Use the service to collect data for competing products or services

Billing & Payment

Pricing:

AverageDay charges $1 per team member per month. Billing is handled through Stripe.

Billing Policy:

  • • Users are billed as soon as they're added to your workspace
  • • Removed users are immediately removed from billing
  • • Charges are calculated monthly based on peak user count
  • • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Payment Terms:

  • • Payment is due monthly in advance
  • • Service may be suspended for non-payment after 7 days
  • • You're responsible for all taxes and fees

Data & Privacy

Data Ownership:

You retain ownership of all data you input into AverageDay. We process this data solely to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

Data Use:

  • • Aggregated data is used for reporting and analytics within your organization
  • • We may use anonymized, aggregated trends for service improvement

Data Export & Deletion:

You can request data export or deletion at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Service Availability & Limitations

Service Level:

  • • We strive for 99.9% uptime but make no guarantees
  • • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
  • • Emergency maintenance may occur without notice

Limitations:

  • • Service is provided "as is" without warranties
  • • We're not liable for data loss due to Slack outages or API changes
  • • Maximum liability limited to amount paid in the last 12 months
  • • Some features may require minimum team sizes for anonymity

Termination & Changes

Termination by You:

  • • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • • Service continues until the end of your billing period
  • • Data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy

Termination by Us:

  • • We may terminate for violations of these terms
  • • We may discontinue the service with 30 days notice
  • • Immediate termination for illegal use or security threats

Changes to Terms:

We may update these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
